About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Railway Maintenance Technician to join our team at Network Rail. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, inspect, and repair the track network to ensure safe and efficient rail operation.
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on undertrack equipment to prevent delays and ensure smooth rail operation.
  • Work with the electrified rail team to ensure the safe and efficient flow of power through the rail network.

Requirements

  • Experience in railway maintenance and repair, with a focus on track and undertrack maintenance.
  • Knowledge of inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques in the discipline of railway maintenance.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and ensuring safe rail operation.
  • Valid driving license (category B) and ability to drive Network Rail vehicles.
