This role will involve regular travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of sales and manufacturing processes, excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, as well as excellent relationship building skills. Key Responsibilities: * Manage a well-established portfolio of accounts. * Identify, win, and develop new business opportunities. * Regularly travel to prospective customer sites to conduct presentations and discuss their requirements. * Meet/exceed monthly sales targets. * Develop a strong knowledge of the company's extensive products and packaging solutions. * Keep in consistent contact with customers to resolve any issues, complaints, or prepare orders in an efficient and timely manner. * Communicate any issues or complaints with internal teams to ensure swift resolution. * Update and maintain company databases with customer information. * Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure efficient coordination of customer orders. * Provide a high level of customer service. * Produce regular customer budget and forecast reports. * Actively work to develop new products to meet customer requirements by liaising with manufacturing and specialist teams. * Ensure the efficiency of processing orders by working directly with internal sales. * Cultivate and build strong and trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. * Promote and adhere to company ethos, policies, and procedures. * Undertake any other duties that may from time to time be required. The Person: * At least 5 years' experience working within the packaging industry, preferably with an extruded film background. * Ability to demonstrate a successful record of managing existing customers and developing new business. * Strong knowledge of sales and manufacturing processes. * Experience in maintaining major customer contracts. * Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. * Excellent relationship building skills, with ability and confidence to communicate effectively on all levels. * Excellent computer skills; CRM, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams. * Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. * Self-disciplined and organised. * Results-driven. * Fully Valid UK Driving Licence.
