About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Neuromodulation and Research Fellow at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality research that aligns with local and industry priorities, under the supervision of experienced professionals.
  • Engage in and deliver National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) portfolio studies related to pain and neuromodulation.
  • Develop and deliver investigator-initiated, industry-funded studies that align with the strategic direction of both the funder and the neuromodulation service.
Requirements
  • Hold a medical qualification registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Entry on the Specialist Register or within a reasonable time period of completing a training programme recognised for the award of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Anaesthesia with an interest in Chronic Pain.
  • Substantive experience working in the NHS.

  • Strong clinical training and experience, with the ability to take appropriate responsibility for clinical care of patients.
