The Position


As a Security Industry Instructor at Realise, you will be instrumental in developing the future workforce of security professionals. Your role will involve delivering thorough training programs that meet the standards set by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). Your knowledge and mentorship will empower our students with the essential skills and understanding needed to thrive in the security sector.

While no two days will be identical, your primary duties will include:

- Designing and conducting SIA-accredited training sessions for participants.

- Offering personalized support and mentorship to students, assisting them in reaching their educational goals.

- Administering assessments and evaluations to track student progress.

- Staying informed about updates in SIA regulations and industry best practices.

- Creating a welcoming and inclusive educational atmosphere.

- Keeping precise records of student attendance, performance, and assessment outcomes.

- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance training programs continuously.

- Ensuring a safe and respectful educational environment.

About You

- Possess a valid SIA Licence (recently expired is acceptable) and proof of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

- Hold teaching and/or assessing qualifications

- Have Level 3 qualifications in First Aid, Conflict Management, and Physical Intervention

- Experience as a Door Supervisor with a solid understanding of SIA regulations and security industry standards

- A patient, approachable, and flexible teaching style

- A dedication to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics

- Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C in Maths and English or equivalent

- Familiarity with safeguarding practices and legislation
