Materials Planning Analyst II

TE Connectivity's Materials Planning Teams are responsible for the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of material movement through the production cycle. They determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery and optimal balance between demand and supply.
- Coordinate with production teams to execute plans smoothly and optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production goals.
- Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize excess inventory.
- Implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with teams to adopt best practices and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Analyze production data and key indicators to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in scheduling software systems, including SAP.
- Previous experience as a production scheduler in manufacturing and experience with moulding scheduling.
- Preferably a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 25 days holiday.
