Job Summary:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader with experience in the recruitment industry. As a Procurement Manager - Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust category strategy to optimize BAE Systems' approach to the procurement of contingent labor and other recruitment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a category strategy to optimize BAE Systems' approach to the procurement of contingent labor and other recruitment services.
- Deliver robust sourcing exercises in line with the category strategy and company processes to deliver optimum outcomes for the enterprise.
- Manage or oversee the end-to-end procurement process (stakeholder and demand management, sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management) for category requirements.
- Implement the Indirect Procurement Services (IPS) Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) approach to secure maximum value from existing and new relationships.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and requirement owners and promptly address any escalations within their area of responsibility.
- Be the business-facing first contact point for the procurement of contingent labor and associated services.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset and work with key internal stakeholders to review relevant processes and procedures, identifying and executing opportunities to optimize ways of working.
Requirements:
Essential
- Proven leadership behaviors and experience of managing a team.
- Significant experience of the recruitment industry, market and commercial models.
- A high level of contract knowledge, including experience negotiating terms and conditions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Contract negotiation & management skills.
- Supplier relationship management.
Desirable
- CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma (MCIPS), or willing to work towards.

This team provides category management, sourcing and supplier relationship management expertise in recruitment, contingent labor, global & domestic mobility services, consultancy, offload and learning & development sub-categories and is looking to add additional expertise in professional services to the team.
