Job Title: Procurement Manager - Recruitment
Location: Preston, with flexible working arrangements available.
Salary: Up to £58,000 dependent on experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Indirect Procurement Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust category strategy for Contingent Labour and associated services, as well as delivering sourcing exercises and managing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a category strategy to optimise BAE Systems' approach to procurement.
- Deliver sourcing exercises and manage the end-to-end procurement process.
- Implement the Indirect Procurement Services Supplier Relationship Management approach.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and requirement owners.
- Be the business-facing first contact point for procurement.
- Have a continuous improvement mindset and work with stakeholders to review processes and procedures.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven leadership behaviours and experience of managing a team.
- Significant experience of the Recruitment industry, market and commercial models.
- A high level of contract knowledge, including experience negotiating terms and conditions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Contract negotiation & management skills.
- Supplier relationship management.
Desirable:
- CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma (MCIPS), or willingness to work towards.

The Indirect Procurement Services team provides category management, sourcing, and supplier relationship management expertise in Recruitment, Contingent Labour, and other sub-categories. We're looking to add additional expertise in Professional Services to the team.
