Job Title: Contract Maintenance Engineer

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled Contract Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the manufacturing process, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum focus is given to the nominated production area.
  • Fault find in an effective and efficient manner, utilizing historic information documentation and various machines.
  • Establish harmonious relations with operational staff and work flexibly with them.
  • Train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and assist in major repairs.
  • Ensure machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard.
  • Pro-actively reduce engineering downtime and continuously improve the process and department.
Requirements:
  • A time-served engineering apprenticeship is ideal.
  • A background in Food/FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing is a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and organize efficiently.
  • Cross skill training (Electrical to Mechanical Conversion) is a plus.

As a Contract Maintenance Engineer, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, working closely with the operational team to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
