Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor to join our team at Westfalia Fruit. As a Quality Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products consistently meet the high standards expected by our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure that all products meet customer specifications.
- Production Monitoring: Monitor production lines to identify and address quality issues, minimizing waste and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate quality control records and conduct shelf-life assessments to ensure that our products remain fresh and safe for consumption.
- Procedure Adherence: Oversee adherence to packhouse procedures and ensure that all products are accurately labeled.
- Training and Development: Assist in training staff on product grading procedures and ensure that all employees are equipped to meet the highest quality standards.
- Audit and Inspection: Conduct regular equipment calibration and hygiene, HACCP, and food safety audits to ensure that our facilities and processes meet the highest standards.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience working within a food production environment, with a strong understanding of quality control principles and techniques.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of HACCP principles and experience conducting audits and inspections would be beneficial.
- Skillset: Meticulous attention to detail, strong commitment to quality, and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with colleagues across various departments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
