Certain Advantage is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Systems Specialist to join our team on an Offshore Project.

This is a 8 month contract opportunity with Hybrid working, collaborating with a business that specializes in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction services across diverse industries such as Energy, Government, and Technology.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instrumentation systems in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Produce detailed documentation, including General Arrangement drawings, Electrical Detail Drawings, and Loop drawings.
  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare work packages for installation and specify instrumentation, cables, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
  • Strong background in engineering design and instrumentation systems.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written, with proficiency in Norwegian a plus.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, including ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR, STID, ProCoSys, W3, and ARIS.
  • Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations and instrumentation used in the oil industry.
  • Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
  • Offshore certification is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware or Technical College degree with extensive experience in Brownfield modification projects.
