Certain Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Systems Specialist to join our team on an exciting Offshore Project.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional to design and implement instrumentation systems for our client in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering design and a proven track record of working on offshore-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instrumentation systems in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Produce detailed documentation, including General Arrangement drawings, Electrical Detail Drawings, and Loop drawings.
  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prepare work packages for installation and specify instrumentation, cables, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
  • Strong background in engineering design, with a focus on instrumentation systems.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, including ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR, STID, ProCoSys, W3, and ARIS.
  • Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
  • Offshore certification is an advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
  • Technical College degree is acceptable with extensive experience in Brownfield modification projects.
