Western Power is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Connections. As the Product Director, you will be responsible for defining and maximizing the value creation from the product team, representing the business sponsor by prioritizing and planning the product backlog, and creating user stories.

About the role

This is a critical position for Western Power to achieve the DER Roadmap actions and realize a future where DER is integral to a safe, reliable, and efficient electricity system. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise and knowledge in high-value, highly complex projects, with a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Program or Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategy and product development roadmap
  • Lead projects using Agile methodology and ensure successful delivery to plan
  • Balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and working groups
