Care Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our Complex Care team in East Sussex. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct direct observations, competency checks, and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting the required standards.
- Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments, updating them as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.
- Work closely with the team to identify potential gaps in rotas and ensure staff are equipped to provide the best possible care.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to address areas of poor practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A supervisory or coaching qualification, or be willing to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification.
- Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist, and enteral feeding, with extensive training provided.
- Experience of working with children and adults with complex care needs.
- Community experience and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan effectively and manage your time well.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,350, increasing to £31,500 on completion of the probation period, plus a company car. You will also receive:
- 37.5 hours per week, with a mix of clinical shifts and supervisory work.
