Biologicals and Chemicals Division (BCD).
Our manufacturing facility specializes in producing liquid and powder media for clients in the global biotherapeutic, vaccine, and cell and gene therapy sectors.
Role Objective:
Assist the Manufacturing Planning Team in the prompt creation, communication, and upkeep of production schedules that are precise, attainable, and centered on customer satisfaction through the delivery of essential performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead Planners in developing stable supply plans that are feasible in terms of capacity and materials, aligned with customer needs.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate reporting of site metrics, focusing on OTTP (On Time to Promise), LIFR (Line Item Fill Rate), and backorder targets.
- Evaluate inventory levels against established targets and propose recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze and maintain E1 ERP planning data, including order policies, value order policies, freeze fences, reorder points, lead times, EOQ, raw materials, and planning data, as well as WIP planning, BOM, and routings.
- Support the review and enhancement of departmental procedures and work instructions.
- Drive initiatives to optimize the planning tools suite.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Education/Experience:
- Experience in a Planning role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong grasp of supply planning principles.
- Experience in planning and scheduling within a manufacturing context using MRP/ERP tools (such as Made2Manage, Oracle ASP, JDE, or server-based systems).
- Proficient in data handling and analysis using MS Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a logical approach to work.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
