Position Overview

Our esteemed public sector client is seeking a Net Zero Finance Innovation Manager for an initial contract of 15 months, with the flexibility of remote work.

Compensation: £500 per day Umbrella
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance the understanding and expertise within the organization regarding the intricate challenges associated with financing net zero initiatives for both urban and rural communities.
  • Lead the formulation and evaluation of a diverse portfolio of net zero projects in collaboration with investors, establishing a robust evidence base for localized investment in Net Zero.
  • Experiment with and refine the concept of a Net Zero Asset Class or a comparable model, utilizing exemplary practices from various regions.
  • Transform concepts into tangible outcomes by developing a comprehensive case study that integrates a portfolio of Net Zero projects to explore financing alternatives and commitments.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of academic, industry, and policy documents to foster methodological advancements in Net Zero investment at the community level.
  • Oversee the examination of economic research related to place-based net zero financing prospects, identifying key drivers and obstacles to scaling initiatives.
  • Recognize the local authorities and flexibilities within organizations, particularly in the public sector, that can be leveraged to promote green economic results.
