Role SummaryThe Dynamic Engineering team within the Asset Management sector delivers consultancy services focused on noise and vibration management, primarily catering to the upstream Oil and Gas industry while also supporting various other industrial sectors.
We currently have an opening for a Lead Vibration Engineering Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Collect vibration and dynamic stress measurement data on client assets, both onshore and offshore, ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
- Foster relationships with clients to optimize opportunities and support the growth of new business.
- Lead and execute engineering tasks related to the provision of quality and timely proposals and contract engineering analysis.
- Manage assigned tasks to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness for specific projects or a portfolio of projects.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong background in engineering, with a focus on mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in the application of UK/EU (or equivalent) laws and regulations relevant to services and products associated with competency, particularly in dynamic integrity scenarios.
- Experience in utilizing a broad range of industry codes and guidelines to address both routine and complex challenges.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience, although exceptional candidates who may not meet this criterion will also be considered.
Familiarity with industry standards such as BS7608, Energy Institute AVIFF Guidelines, BS7910, and ASME 19.3 will be advantageous.
