About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Line Runner to join our team at Caterpillar. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of parts and components to our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate as part of the logistics team to deliver parts and components to production lines, adhering to specified work orders and customer-defined "tact times" and production sequences.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, record information, investigate root causes, and implement problem-solving solutions.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing tools and techniques to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support logistics planned and unplanned absences, train and coach logistics operators, and provide data analysis and root cause investigation.
  • Participate in product and process improvement dialogues, cover the Team Leader's role in their absence, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork, and Sustainability.
Requirements
  • Understanding of logistics processes and ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrable high level of aptitude and accuracy, with a fully flexible approach to the job role and responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various levels of the organization, with a willingness to undertake required training and learning.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar processes and a willingness to work a multi-shift pattern.
