About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Leader to join our team at The Orders of St John Care Trust. As a Care Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team of carers to deliver outstanding care to our residents, while encouraging them to always do their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in planning and implementing care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity, and independence.
  • Manage care plans through continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ensure the wellbeing of residents and manage time effectively to support the care team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve care quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the care team to identify and address resident needs and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a residential care setting with an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support the care team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
  • Confidence in taking charge and using initiative to resolve problems and address queries.
