Couchbase DBA Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Couchbase DBA to join our team at Staffworx. As a Couchbase DBA, you will be responsible for designing and implementing logical and physical database architectures, as well as ensuring the performance and scalability of our Couchbase clusters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement database architectures using Couchbase and other relevant technologies.
  • Optimize Couchbase cluster performance and scalability.
  • Implement automation, virtualization, and containerization technologies such as VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Work with AWS or Azure experience is a plus.
  • Implement Couchbase XDCR replication and other data management techniques.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance data processing pipelines using Kafka, Elastic Search, Java, and Scala.
  • Design and implement multi-dimensional scaling, caching, and indexing strategies.
  • Work with OLTP and DWH systems such as AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, and Couchbase.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Couchbase and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with automation, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
