Clinical Haematology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Haematologist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with haematological disorders, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our haematology service.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of our patients. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert clinical care to patients with haematological disorders
- Leading a team of healthcare professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and other support staff
- Contributing to the development of our haematology service, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives
- Participating in on-call duties, including out-of-hours cover and laboratory on-call
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients
