IT Field Engineer Job Description

Jago Consultants is seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer to join their expanding support team. As an IT Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and installation services to customers across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer sites to provide support and installation services
  • Update and manage customer documentation
  • Evaluate and prioritize tasks
  • Support and install desktops and laptops (Windows 8-10 pro)
  • Configure and network devices
  • Ensure day-to-day operations are effectively supported, including incident management, request fulfillment, and site maintenance
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of providing excellent 1st/2nd line IT support
  • Proven track record in installing hardware and software onsite
  • Full UK driving license
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server platform and Microsoft Exchange
  • Fluent in supporting Microsoft Office Suite from 2013+
  • Confident in basic firewall and router configurations, as well as business firewall ports, IPv4, and DNS
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Salary £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
  • Generous paid holiday allowance with long service benefits
