We are seeking an experienced Strategic Safeguarding Coordinator to join our team at Lewisham's Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the delivery of the operations of the Safeguarding Children Partnership, including managing the LSCP strategic business planning processes.
  • Ensure the operation of the LSCP, the Executive Partnership, and sub/task groups.
  • Help maintain high service standards and development to promote good outcomes for safeguarding children.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • Relevant professional qualification and/or substantial experience in multi-agency services strategy and policy formation.
  • Substantial management experience of social care services for children or similar in Social Services or Health.
  • Significant experience of policy and procedure drafting and implementation.
  • Knowledge of complex case management in safeguarding children practice.
