Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Asset Integrity to join our team. As a key member of our Multi-discipline Asset Integrity team, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing asset integrity strategies across a range of documents and processes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discipline-focused tasks and liaise with technical colleagues and client representatives as required.
  • Deliver against relevant internal and external client deadlines to a high standard of accuracy and quality.
  • Support bids by providing input into relevant technical areas.
  • Provide front-line support to client requests and issues.
  • Support training and development of staff in relevant discipline areas.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered status (or working towards) with a relevant Engineering Institution.
  • Proven experience in a relevant discipline area, with experience in asset integrity/operational engineering support being desirable.
  • Experience with typical Oil and Gas, Windfarm, and chemical industry client systems.
  • Understanding of the Integrity Cycle, including key steps associated with planning, enacting, checking, and feedback.
  • Power system studies, protection system, Electrical Engineering design, and calculations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation relevant to the discipline.
  • Experience in developing workpacks for enactment on site by own company or third party/vendor as applicable.
  • Experience in developing, checking, and implementing risk-based inspection and assessment (RBI-A) strategies in relevant discipline areas.
  • Experience of reviewing and sentencing anomalies, including risk ranking, categorization, and risk ranking as appropriate.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with relevant inspection techniques, including GVI/CVI as well as NDT, NII, etc.
  • Experience in developing asset level integrity management strategy documentation.
  • Experience and knowledge of using relevant industry codes and standards.
