Position Overview: Global E&C is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to oversee our electrical engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the assigned electrical engineering team effectively.
- Provide specialized input for tenders and proposals as necessary.
- Evaluate and enhance working practices, systems, personnel, and team performance.
- Promote innovative initiatives to clients and stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure that all assigned tasks adhere to budgetary and scheduling constraints, as well as relevant standards, regulations, and codes.
- Maintain and update project plans, progress reports, and cost control measures for designated scopes.
- Engage regularly with customer representatives and participate in essential meetings.
- Review, verify, and authorize discipline work outputs, including remote checks and approvals.
- Be accountable for the verification, approval, and documentation of discipline outputs.
- Assist in the competency evaluation of discipline personnel.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in the Oil & Gas sector with a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status and membership in a recognized engineering institution.
- Strong technical foundation and a broad range of expertise.
- Extensive experience with applicable codes, practices, standards, and regulatory documentation.
- Proficient in directing and organizing discipline teams within various project environments.
- Knowledgeable in the commercial, contractual, and administrative dimensions of engineering.
- Experience in all facets of discipline design, including multi-discipline projects, and adept in analytical methods.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams.
