Position Overview

The City of London is seeking an Assistant Bereavement Services Officer to join our dedicated team.

Salary: £27,490 to £30,430 per annum, inclusive of Outer London Weighting.

Employment Type: Full-time & Permanent

This role is based at the City of London Cemetery & Crematorium main office, requiring on-site presence. The working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Successful candidates will exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for engaging with colleagues, clients, and the public. Proven administrative capabilities, neat handwriting, and a commitment to high accuracy in tasks are crucial. A strong ability to work collaboratively and proficiency in IT systems are also required.

Applicants must possess a full UK driving license, as the role may involve transporting members of the public within the cemetery grounds using a mini-bus.
