About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team at Huddle, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a critical role in building our brand and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective communications strategies to raise our profile and drive business opportunities
  • Lead on external communications, including media relations, PR campaigns, and content creation
  • Manage and develop the communications function, including day-to-day management of a Communications Executive
  • Contribute to the development of our communications strategy, turning strategic goals into tangible deliverables and plans
  • Support the leadership team with communications insights and opportunities, coaching individuals to build on previous media training, and providing effective briefings/speech writing ahead of media appearances
  • Initiate relevant social media strategy to engage with future talent and build employer brand, with support of the communications executive to deliver consistent social content
  • Deliver internal communications through the company intranet, including regular video content, and continue to evolve both the intranet and company website with external partners
  • Develop collaborative relationships across the business to maximise the effectiveness of the communications strategy development and delivery
Requirements
  • Established communications manager with expertise in PR/external communications and a breadth of experience across several comms disciplines
  • Deep understanding of news, the media, and how to manage the news agenda in a business looking to build its profile and drive opportunity to deliver the business story to new audiences
  • Talented writer with the ability to work at pace and across a variety of projects
  • Adaptable and thrives on change, willing to shift quickly in response to business needs
