Financial Operations Assistant - Chichester

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Legado Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and posted in accordance with relevant accounting rules and regulations.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • To process and reconcile supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate nominal coding.
  • To manage office cash and petty cash, ensuring proper identification and allocation of funds.
  • To prepare and process financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • To provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and document preparation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
