Job Title: Deputy Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our Health Improvement Practitioner Service team in Bolton.

About the Role

The Deputy Service Manager will provide support to the Service Manager in leading and managing the delivery and provision of the NHS Health Improvement Practitioner Service across Bolton. This includes working strategically across the local health and social care economy, collaborating and negotiating with public health, primary care, and social care to ensure the service meets exacting standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Service Manager in providing leadership and management for the delivery and provision of the NHS Health Improvement Practitioner Service across Bolton.
  • Work strategically across the local health and social care economy, collaborating and negotiating with public health, primary care, and social care.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with primary care and Integrated Care Services Division colleagues.
  • Act as the main administrator for the Data Collection and Reporting System (DCRS).
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate robust evaluation systems for the service as defined by the Service Manager.
  • Support other team members with research, audits, and evaluations as required.
  • Assess and evaluate complex data.
Requirements
  • Has worked within primary care or has experience of primary care practice.
  • Has experience of healthcare work with patients in health improvement.
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Health Trainer Qualification.
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
