Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our service users
  • Supporting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Encouraging and promoting healthy lifestyles and habits
  • Assisting with learning and education, including using positive language and reinforcement techniques
  • Maximising the use of games and activities to promote good mental health and well-being
  • Managing PTSD symptoms and using de-escalation techniques, as trained
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A positive and inspiring attitude, with a passion for promoting bespoke care
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to ongoing training and development
  • A full enhanced DBS and the ability to work in the UK
