About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and support to service users within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting service users with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to service users.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for service users.
  • Documenting service user care and progress accurately.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the care team.

Essential Criteria

  • A genuine passion for working with service users and a commitment to their well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in handling cash and processing payments (desirable).
  • A willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in a similar care setting.
  • Experience of undertaking complaint or incident investigations.

Training

All new starters will undergo a comprehensive induction program and ongoing training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their role.
