Primary School Year 6 Educator

We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 6 Educator to become part of our vibrant and nurturing primary school community.
As a Year 6 Educator, your role will involve delivering a comprehensive and inclusive curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of learners, instilling a passion for education, and preparing students for their upcoming assessments.
Curriculum Implementation:
Design, organize, and execute stimulating and challenging lessons that address the varied needs of Year 6 pupils, ensuring they achieve significant progress across all subjects.
Evaluation:
Continuously evaluate student work, offering constructive feedback, and monitoring their advancement in accordance with school standards.
Assessment Preparation:
Equip students for their end-of-Key Stage 2 evaluations, providing focused assistance to help them reach their full potential.
Classroom Leadership:
Foster a positive and effective classroom atmosphere, encouraging good conduct and a passion for learning.
Student Support:
Offer emotional and pastoral support to students, aiding them in building confidence, resilience, and independence as they transition to secondary education.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with fellow educators, parents, and external specialists to enhance the learning and development of all students.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Demonstrated experience in teaching Key Stage 2, particularly in Year 6.
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment practices at Key Stage 2.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
Experience in preparing students for assessments.
A proven record of supporting students in achieving strong academic results.
Experience in employing a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning preferences.
