Our team is a diverse mix of engineers and technical specialists who bring together a wealth of experience and expertise to collaborate, innovate, and deliver world-class solutions. As a Senior Supportability Engineer, you will be actively involved in analysing, assessing, and influencing the supportability characteristics and performance of our next-generation products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with integrated project teams to deliver supportability engineering work packages covering reliability, maintainability, and testability analysis, support strategy planning, and modelling.
  • Utilize various analytical techniques and procedures to perform RM&T analysis on integrated systems.
  • Collaborate closely with systems, mechanical, software, RF, electronics, and safety engineers to identify and avoid real support-related problems on complex systems before they reach the customer.
  • Grow and develop the supportability community and core skills base.
  • Contribute to continuous process and procedural improvements to drive out the cost and reputational consequence of failure.
  • Understand customers' operational needs to guide the development of equipment capable of meeting the needs of future operational environments.
  • Contribute to IPT and engineering unit decision-making.
  • Supervise engineers.
  • Provide guidance on through-life cost of ownership.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop more junior members of the team.
  • Provide domain expertise in support of customer and user engagement and product roadmaps.

We are particularly interested in speaking to candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Working knowledge of RMT analysis techniques on electronic, power, RF, mechanical, and mixed technology systems.
  • Equipment Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) data collection and analysis.
  • Safety Hazard Identification and Safety Management inc Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Support Strategy Planning, LORA utilising support modelling tools (e.g. OPUS).
  • Bids and Proposals support in provision of information and analysis in a 'Merchant Supply' environment.
  • Familiarity with statistical data analysis.
  • Creation of beneficial relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

Our team uses PTC Windchill Risk and Reliability; Reliasoft; OPUS; Simlox; Matlab/Simulink; Jira, and Python. While expertise is not essential, familiarity with some of these tools would be beneficial.
