Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the entire Above Ground Plumbing product range, ensuring effective revenue generation and profitability through strategic product placement in both B2B and B2C markets.
2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to derive market insights that inform decision-making.
3. Develop and manage the Above Ground Plumbing business plan in alignment with the overall corporate strategy.
4. Handle the product life cycle from inception to discontinuation, including formulating exit strategies for underperforming products.
5. Continuously assess market dynamics, including size, share, and regulatory changes, to stay ahead of industry trends.
6. Drive product innovation based on market demands, leading new product development initiatives.
7. Manage the introduction of new products through to successful commercialization.
8. Ensure customer needs and expectations are met to optimize revenue and profitability within the category.
9. Administer product SKU management and related tasks.
10. Establish and maintain pricing and margin strategies for Above Ground Plumbing products.
Sales Support:
Provide comprehensive sales support to enhance revenue and profit growth, including the creation of technical manuals, training materials, and promotional literature.
Forecasting and Budget Management:
Calculate and analyze product demand forecasts and manage budget initiatives effectively.
Skills & Requirements:
- Ideally possess a degree in marketing or business studies, though not mandatory.
- Proven experience in category or product management within the construction products industry.
- Familiarity with marketing, selling, or installing Above Ground Plumbing products is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities to develop business plans that maximize revenue and return on investment.
- Excellent analytical skills and commercial awareness.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management and distribution channels.
- Proficient in interpreting complex data to identify trends and performance shifts.
- Commercially minded with the capability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
- Commitment to quality and a history of continuous improvement.
- Strong grasp of market dynamics and trends.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
Working Hours & Benefits:
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with core hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering flexibility.
