We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Service Coordinator to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for providing daily support to the Facilities Lead, overseeing cleaning, catering, and portering services, and managing a team to ensure high-quality standards within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and support Team Leaders and Service Assistants, approve work schedules and annual leave, manage staff performance, training, and handle grievances or disciplinary actions.
- Service Oversight: Ensure cleaning, food service, patient movement, and waste disposal meet standards, organize and manage deep cleaning programs, respond to emergencies and major incidents.
- Compliance & Quality: Conduct audits, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, complete Risk Assessments and manage health and safety protocols.
- Budget Management: Help manage budgets, control costs, and find efficiencies.
- Communication: Coordinate with teams and stakeholders to manage workload and priorities, participate in department meetings and discussions.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing facilities or related services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Experience in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and MS Teams.
