About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Horticultural Manager to join our team at Baylis Community Media Estate. As a key member of our estate management team, you will be responsible for managing and planning a variety of garden environments, including mature shrubs, herbaceous borders, rose gardens, and indoor plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and plan garden environments to ensure optimal growth and maintenance
  • Assist with the maintenance of the wider estate, including lawns, hedge cutting, and strimming
  • Oversee the Assistant Gardener and plan their day-to-day duties
  • Develop and implement gardening strategies to improve estate aesthetics and biodiversity

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 2 RHS horticultural qualification
  • Pa1 and Pa6 Pesticide Training preferred but not essential
  • Clean driving license
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
