Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Design Team: Lead and manage a team of designers to ensure the successful delivery of design information packages.
  • Development and Implementation of Design Proposals: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement design proposals that meet project requirements.
  • Engagement with Commercial and Operational Teams: Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure design deliverables align with project timelines and budgets.
  • Quality Management: Ensure design quality meets the highest standards, and implement quality control measures to prevent defects.
  • Design Deliverables Programming: Develop and implement design deliverables programming to ensure timely delivery of design information packages.
  • Meetings Facilitation: Facilitate design team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Sustainability Management: Develop and implement sustainable design practices to minimize environmental impact.
  • Document Control and Resource Management: Manage design documentation and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Tier 1 main contractor background or larger regional contractor background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge is a plus.
  • Organised with excellent time management skills.
