About the Role:

The Retail Motor Pricing Manager will play a key role in developing market-leading pricing capabilities for the Retail Motor channel. Reporting to the Retail Pricing Lead, you will be responsible for the end-to-end street pricing of your channel, adapting to changing market conditions and advancements in technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead a team of Pricing Analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of pricing objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Personal Lines business to influence strategy and deliver outcomes that meet ambitious business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in pricing analytics, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in pricing capabilities

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in pricing, ideally within Motor or Home insurance
  • Ability to lead and prioritize workload with business objectives, as well as lead others with a focus on people development and building capability
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify and transform customer requirements into an effective pricing strategy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence decision-makers

  • Starting salary between £45,000 and £75,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
