Motor Underwriting Analyst Role

Aviva is seeking a skilled Motor Underwriting Analyst to contribute to the success of our Motor Underwriting team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for data analysis and underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate complex data sets to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our Motor Pricing and Underwriting strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that support our business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of our people and technical capabilities, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure fair treatment of customers and effective risk management through the application of underwriting principles and practices.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Motor Underwriting, with a preference for specialists in Van and Telematics.
  • Ability to analyze and deliver insights from a broad range of data sets, with a focus on identifying trends and patterns.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking, with strong financial and statistical knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  • Desirable to have relevant industry qualifications, such as CII DIPCII or ACII, and/or data analytical experience.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary between £50,000 and £75,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • A bonus opportunity of up to 10% of annual salary, based on performance and company results.
