Position Overview:
We are seeking a committed and adaptable SEN English Instructor to support our Secondary schools in Halstead. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in delivering personalized English education to students with special educational needs (SEN), enabling them to reach their maximum potential.


As a SEN English Instructor, your primary responsibility will be to create and implement customized lesson plans tailored to the unique learning requirements of each student. Collaboration with fellow educators and support personnel will be essential in fostering an inclusive and nurturing educational atmosphere.

Your capacity to modify teaching approaches to suit various learning styles and challenges will be crucial for success in this position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and external organizations to enhance the overall development of each student.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and attendance.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to remain updated on best practices in SEN education.
