We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychological Therapist/Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at Inclusion. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing psychological therapy and support to individuals in prison on the Isle of Wight.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality psychological therapy and support to individuals in prison, including assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that all members of the multidisciplinary team have access to psychologically informed ways of thinking about service users.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues.
- Contribute to research, evaluation, and audit activities to inform the development of services.
- Provide reflective practice spaces for teams and deliver group work programs.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist or accreditation with an appropriate body for psychological therapists.
- Prior experience of working in prison or other forensic/custodial settings.
- Specialist training in an evidence-based trauma-focused therapy, such as EMDR.
- Additional training in other psychological therapies, such as DBT, CFT, and ACT.
