About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. As a Principal Clinical Psychologist, you will work closely with our Consultant Psychologist to ensure the quality of our psychological provision and develop psychological knowledge and skills across our workforce.
The successful candidate will have a post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology and registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist. They will also have experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with our Consultant Psychologist to ensure the quality of our psychological provision and develop psychological knowledge and skills across our workforce.
- Develop and lead psychological services to meet the needs of our clients, including the development of new services and the improvement of existing ones.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to other psychologists and mental health professionals.
- Contribute to the development of our Trust's mental health strategy and service development initiatives.
Person Specification
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
- Registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner (Clinical) Psychologist.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity across the full range of care settings.
- Experience of exercising full autonomous clinical responsibility for client's psychological care and treatment.
