We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Highly Specialist Physiotherapist to join our Pain Management Service at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of patients with complex presentations and persistent pain, providing evidence-based, high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, consultants, nurses, and advanced physiotherapy practitioners, to deliver patient-focused care.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating cognitive behavioral approaches to rehabilitation.
- Lead group work sessions to support patients in living well with persistent pain.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students, as well as contribute to the development of the service.
- BSc Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for the profession.
- Evidence of post-graduate continued development in specialist clinical areas.
- Membership of a specialist interest group.
- Substantial postgraduate experience at a Band 6 level, including within the specialist area.
- Knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches for the management of patients within the specialist clinical area.
- Awareness of cognitive behavioral approaches to rehabilitation.
- Experience of group work, junior staff and student supervision, and clinical education.
- Experience of leading a team and teaching to multidisciplinary groups.
- Evidence of active involvement in service development and contribution to change within the workplace.
