Position Overview: Information Security Specialist
As a vital member of the Information Security team at Canopius, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our security framework and delivering comprehensive security solutions both on-premises and within the Azure cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on security measures for various projects and suggest technical controls to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with security vendors to ensure service delivery aligns with expectations.
- Oversee Cyber Training and Awareness initiatives.
- Analyze SOC reports and dashboards to facilitate proactive security measures.
- Administer security tools and ensure seamless integration with MSSP support.
- Lead third-party security assessments and audits.
- Encourage a culture of security and compliance throughout the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and corrective actions.
- Coordinate the information security awareness training strategy as outlined by the CISO.
- Manage Security and Compliance within Office 365.
- Investigate and assess emerging cyber security threats.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in information security operations and monitoring of cyber controls.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security risks and the implementation of controls.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and time-management skills.
- Capability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Vendor-neutral professional certifications in cyber security or IT are preferred.
