About the Role

Simpson Judge Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Group Finance Manager to join their close-knit Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established hospitality group, reporting to the Financial Controller and interacting with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly site P&Ls with the management accounts team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the management accounts team to prepare consolidated group management accounts and reporting, providing valuable insights to senior management.
  • Oversee balance sheet and bank reconciliations, ensuring the company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts, providing strategic financial guidance to the business.
  • Work closely with project managers to understand and challenge project costings, ensuring financial prudence and efficiency.
  • Provide reporting and analysis for senior management, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist with producing financial statements and coordinating audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support statutory compliance and ad-hoc financial tasks, ensuring the company's financial obligations are met.

Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with 1-3 Years PQE, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in a similar group finance role with hospitality industry experience, showcasing a deep understanding of the sector's financial nuances.
