The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our tree management efforts across the estate. As a key member of our Landscape Management Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our trees, as well as managing contractor performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all aspects of tree management, including proactive and reactive measures to reduce risk.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to tree management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on tree management to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Lead on and manage tree works within budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and assess the viability of new technologies and techniques for incorporation into our department.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Level 3 Arboricultural qualification.
- Lantra professional tree inspection certification.
- A full UK driving license.
- Experience of successful urban tree management and risk management, preferably using industry-specific software.
- Experience of managing contractor performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
