About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Clinical Engineering Department as a Head of Medical Equipment Library. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the provision of high-quality medical equipment management services across the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Technical Services Manager in the overall management of the Medical Equipment Library (MEL) and supervision of the MEL team.
  • Ensure a safe and effective standard of MEL service is provided.
  • Have a good working knowledge of IT systems and associated software packages.
  • Experience of medical terminology, including that specific to histopathology, is desirable but not essential.
