About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Safeguarding and Wellbeing team at West Lancashire College as a Care Experienced Inclusive Learning Assistant. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of Care Experienced students, enhancing their retention rates, attendance, and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and provide targeted support to Care Experienced students, understanding their unique challenges and needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners to ensure effective support and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve student outcomes, attendance, and retention.
  • Collaborate with the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment for Care Experienced students.
