## Job Title: Education Support Specialist

## Job Summary:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Specialist to join a supportive SEND High School in Skelmersdale. This role is ideal for individuals eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with additional needs.

## About the School:

The school caters to students aged 11-16 with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties, as well as some with an ASD diagnosis. All students have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) in place to support their individual needs.

## Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the class teacher to ensure equal access to education for all students.
* Provide support to children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
* Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
* Record and assess student's progress in line with their EHCPs.
* Help create an inclusive environment that fosters the success and well-being of all children.

## What We Are Looking For:

* A genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
* A comprehensive CV detailing your educational and employment history.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
