Halton Project Worker for Boys and Young Men

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team in Halton, supporting boys and young men who have been affected by domestic violence.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position with a provisional end date for funding of 31/03/2025. The successful candidate will work 21 hours per week, with a salary of £16,944.73 pro rata.
The role involves delivering one-to-one sessions and group work to support boys and young men who have witnessed domestic violence and abuse. The post holder will also develop relationships with professionals across organisations to enhance the emotional, mental health, and wellbeing offer.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapeutic interventions to support boys and young men affected by domestic violence and abuse.
- Develop relationships with professionals across organisations to enhance the emotional, mental health, and wellbeing offer.
- Support boys and young men to develop personal resilience and manage their own mental health.
- Work with a range of professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package for boys and young men.
- Substantial relevant experience in working with children and young people at risk from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience of advice and advocacy work with vulnerable people.
- Prior experience of working with children and young people presenting with emotional, behavioural, and/or mental health difficulties.
- Experience of supporting people who are dealing with complex and sensitive issues.
- Prior experience of supporting children and young people who have been victims of domestic violence and abuse.
