Student Support and Engagement Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for student wellbeing issues and concerns, providing a link between faculties and Student Services. Your expertise in addressing welfare issues for adult learners and vulnerable groups will be invaluable in ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing first-line response to student wellbeing issues and concerns
  • Collaborating with faculties and Student Services to address student concerns and promote student engagement
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with students, staff, and external partners to enhance student support services
  • Contributing to the development of student support strategies and initiatives

As a highly skilled and empathetic professional, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to work within professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality. You will also have a strong understanding of data protection issues and be able to demonstrate a confident approach in dealing with challenging situations.

This is a fixed-term position, covering a maternity leave, and may also be considered as a secondment opportunity. The post is available part-time for 30 hours per week.
